Diritto umano alla città in circostanze di conflitto urbano’’ di Sandro Di Gangi (Gruppo Albatros - Il Filo)

Frutto di un biennio di ricerca condotto presso l’Università “La Sapienza” di Roma, il presente saggio ha come oggetto il contributo al riconoscimento e alla protezione del Diritto Umano alla Città in circostanze di conflitto. I casi studio presi in esame riguardano i conflitti nei territori del Caucaso Meridionale e della Regione Balcanica.

 

Sandro Di Gangi dal 2020 si occupa del Progetto di ricerca denominato HRC – CUC Human Right to The City in Circumstances of Urban Conflict. Dal 2021 conduce attività di ricerca nei territori della Bosnia ed Erzegovina, Distretto di Brčko e nel Caucaso Meridionale, Provincia di Shirak in Armenia, Città di Gyumri.

Dal 2001 al 2010 ha condotto attività di ricerca scientifica, nell’ambito della Storia della Pianificazione Coloniale Italiana nell’Africa Orientale. Dopo la Laurea in Architettura (1998), presso l’Università di Palermo, ha conseguito due Master: Geopolitica e Sicurezza Globale (2021) e Protezione Internazionale dei Diritti Umani “Maria Rita Saulle”(2022) presso l’Università “La Sapienza” di Roma.

The result of two years of research conducted at “La Sapienza” University of Rome, this essay aims to contribute to the recognition and protection of the Human Right to the City in circumstances of conflict. The case studies examined concern conflicts in the territories of the Southern Caucasus and the Balkan Region.

Since 2020 Sandro Di Gangi has worked on the research Project entitled HRC – CUC Human Right to The City in Circumstances of Urban Conflict. Since 2021 he has been conducting research activities in the territories of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the District of Brčko and in the Southern Caucasus, Province of Shirak in Armenia, City of Gyumri. Between 2001 and 2010 he conducted research in the field of the History of Italian Colonial Planning in East Africa. After graduating with a degree in Architecture (1998), from the University of Palermo, he has earned two Masters degrees: Geopolitics and Global Security (2021) and International Protection of Human Rights “Maria Rita Saulle” (2022) from the University of Rome, “La Sapienza”.
